Virgin Media scores 3rd place with 14% of consumers tuning in for the match. But traditional TV services are given a run for their money by online platforms, and YouTube stands out as the fourth contender, only two percentage points behind. Although only 1 in 10 consumers are tuning into the YouTube platform, Zinklar are predicting that online streaming of sports through YouTube might start inching into other channels\u2019 profits.<\/p>\n<p>Even before the actual day, more than 1 in 2 consumers under 30 are planning or already have placed a bet. Usually, with their top three favourite sports betting brands: William Hill, Ladbrokes, and Bet365. One that\u2019s \u201ceasy, reliable, and trustworthy\u201d: all the more reason why these brands have ramped up their partnerships with football teams (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedrum.com\/news\/2019\/05\/29\/over-the-odds-has-football-got-gambling-problem?\">The Drum<\/a>).&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The research shows that consumers are more likely to try new products from brands that they\u2019re familiar with (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nielsen.com\/us\/en\/press-room\/2013\/global-consumers-more-likely-to-buy-new-products-from-familiar-b0.html\">Nielsen, 2013<\/a>). Betting brands are making the same wager: in association with a team, they\u2019re hoping their brand will gain visibility.They want a slice of the profit much like the fans will be betting an average of \u00a345 on this match alone.<\/p>\n<p>Fan Favourite: Liverpool vs Tottenham?<\/p>\n<p>Zinklar didn\u2019t need a survey to tell us that most fans sympathise with Liverpool.
